About

Do you think you’re paying too much for gas and electricity? Perhaps your home is hard to keep warm and you’re fed up with energy being wasted? Well, some people in this area have made home improvements that have brought down their bills and made them cosier, while helping the environment; come and ask them how!

It's a great chance to come and see energy saving technologies in action, and speak to ordinary householders in their homes about what they've changed and the savings they've made. Information will be unbiased and there won't be the pressure of any sales talk, although we may have technical experts on hand to share their knowledge.

We will have a wide range of home improvements to see, including solar PV, solar hot water, biomass boilers, various heat pumps, heat recovery systems and other measures such as internal and external wall insulation, draught proofing, as well as energy efficient lighting, windows, doors and clever clothes driers.
